Autumn: A Season of Shedding

As we transition into autumn, nature invites us to embrace a season of shedding—leaves fall from the trees, returning to the earth, and in doing so, they reveal the bare essence of the branches. This cyclical process in nature reflects a powerful metaphor for our own lives.

We too can use this season to shed the layers that no longer reflect our truth. Letting go of old beliefs, roles, or identities that don’t align with our values allows us to come back to our essence—our true SELF.

Imagine what it would feel like if there was no disconnect between how you show up in the world and who you are at your core. How might life change if your actions, words, and choices all stemmed from the deepest sense of SELF?

Autumn is a time to let go of the old narratives and conditioned responses, and align with who we are at our core. It's a moment to pause, reflect, and reconnect with our values—the compass that guides us toward living authentically.

For many of us, the world has taught us who we should be. From an early age, layers of conditioning accumulate: the need to fit in, meet expectations, succeed according to external standards, and fulfill roles we’ve inherited or assumed. Over time, these layers can create a disconnect between how we show up in the world and who we truly are deep inside.

But what if we could remove those layers? What if we could tune into who we are at our essence, living in alignment with the values that speak to our true SELF?

Take a moment to pause and ask yourself:

  • What truly matters to me?

  • What values guide the way I move through the world, and am I living in alignment with them?

  • Where is there a disconnect between who I am and how I show up in my life?

Autumn invites us to reflect, release, and realign. As you move through this season, take the time to tune in to what truly matters, let go of what no longer resonates, and step into a more authentic, aligned way of being.
